Playing 30 minutes with a torn ACL is pretty impressive.
Absolutely brutal news. The LA Galaxy have officially announced that midfielder Riqui Puig tore his left ACL in last night's Western Conference final win over Seattle Sounders. He played injured for over 30 minutes and assisted the game-winning goal.

Sad news: Legendary St. John’s coach Lou Carnesecca died today, Rick Pitino announced on Twitter. Carnesecca was 99 and one of the most important coaches in Big East history. College hoops became huge in the 1980s and so did his St. John’s teams, when the Big East ascended in the sport.

I guess the Jets figured firing Douglas now would help them get a jump on their GM search, but given that they can’t interview during the season, not sure it accomplishes much other than adding to the optics of the organization being in disarray.
