When I was last working I ended up in the ER from overworking my body and decided it was best for me to stay home especially since my disabled child was already struggling so much with the caretaker he had at the time. I also have a trans child so we live in California where it's safest for her and my family in general as two of us are disabled. I'm working towards getting on disability at the moment as well as exploring options to be paid to be my son's caregiver as his behavior gets worse when I'm not the one caring for him. Well, winter is well and truly here (hit the minus teens), & we just have to hope the roof-tarp holds up until spring; 2" of ice on it is wild.

Down to the last option for help, & expecting a "no"; we're poor & disabled in canada, there's no help.

We need about $3000 for tin by spring.

Multiply disabled mom lost her 14 y/o child traumatically just weeks before the 3 year anniversary of her mom's death. Gig work does not provide PTO. She is in absolutely no condition to work in the state she's in right now—she is a shambles.

& I'm worried this will flare her up like her mom's did.
