i know you’re not supposed to read the conversation in the comments but the conversation is depressing and anti-art in all the typical ways to justify censorship… like there’s so much to unpack here especially with how quickly people paint art as “abuse” when it discusses difficult topics.

10+ years ago I did something similar with Assassin's Creed, but that was even more obvious since copy pasted games resulted in copy pasted reviews.

It's wild to me that people struggle to resist buying games funding transphobes or made by companies that are actively trying to appeal to racists, while I'm perfectly fine not buying Dispatch even though I was excited for it just because AdHoc isn't refusing their indie debut nomination

I'll echo Hayes: if you're into this particular brand of visual novel, Detective Instinct is great! Finished it this morning and was really pleased with how it concluded. Worth it for the soundtrack alone, total Chill Gaming Music While You Work fodder.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.
