It is a better tactic just to make peace with it being a possibility and keep one eye open than cause more mental damage later.
I saw so many oomfs have meltdowns when their favs promoted NFTs instead or just steeling yourself in advance that your heroes might be dumber than you believed them to be

Everybody needs to make peace with the fact their GOAT is gonna dip their toe into AI shit. I've seen so many 'well they said they would but that was lying for investors' cope posts that later lead into a crash out when it became apparent they were not, in fact, lying to investors

I think as time goes on, these companies are going to keep making it harder and harder to recognize AI, because no matter what, people are going to see something GenAI'd and feel off. Uncertain. Disgusted in some respects.
