"Death of the Author" doesn't mean separating the author's bad behaviour from their art. It means taking away their authority and allowing readers to interpret the art based on their own perspectives. It doesn't absolve the author of being a bastard, in fact it may inform how you interpret the art.

Turns out this was all much ado about nothing and Google isn’t using your Gmail to train AI and if wanna turn all that stuff back on you can get your spam filters back
Looks like the article has been updated to suggest maybe they misread the policy.
I see people complaining that this also disabled their spam filters, though I still see new messages showing up in spam so it's still working fine for me after disabling things.

That WB didn't release this themselves suggests the UK rights were in limbo. I was fully expecting this to skip cinemas entirely at this point.
I believe Signature has Coyote vs. Acme already, so they should be a bit closer to the US release.

That WB didn't release this themselves suggests the UK rights were in limbo. I was fully expecting this to skip cinemas entirely at this point.
I believe Signature has Coyote vs. Acme already, so they should be a bit closer to the US release.

I think there's a special dislike I have for people who keep saying things like "why do movies not look like movies", or "it looks like it was shot on a phone!", which a) is not true, b) demeaning and ignorant to people who work on films, and c) an excuse for only liking movies when you were 10.

I hadn't noticed that LEGO Christmas advert has the disclaimer "Fantasy." in the corner, just in case you thought your sets and minifigs were going to come to life and carry you out of bed like the boy in the ad or something.
