Lawyers for Luigi Mangione claim he wasn't read his rights before he was questioned by law enforcement officers, and they failed to obtain a warrant before searching his backpack.

Never forget that when Bondi was appointed, Democracy Docket immediately called her out while The Washington Post gave her a thumbs up.

If you value independent, pro-democracy media that won't bow down or obey, support Democracy Docket today. hubs.ly/Q03M8rql0

Kelly: I really worry about those aviators, drone operators, special forces guys that are in the Caribbean right now striking these boats and whether or not this is legal..

There’s no authorization for the use of military force. The Congress has not given that to the president. He hasn’t asked.

Horrible mass shooting in a Beaufort County, South Carolina bar last night.

South Carolina has weak gun laws - and allows concealed carry in bars. All the prayers that Nancy Mace sends won’t do a thing to prevent these from occurring unless they change their laws.

From the government’s fiscal perspective, I guess it’s cheaper to kill a mentally ill person than it is to give them psychiatric care. Money dictates policy. 💰

2/ Police apologists will argue self-defense, but the officer was only in danger because he placed himself in danger. He could have kept driving, or stayed in his vehicle. A brick and shovel are only a threat at close range. The police bullets were more likely to kill bystanders or kids in school.

1/ Why did 36-year-old Rudy Anthony Martinez II have to be killed? Why didn’t police simply keep the public away from him while attempting to “talk him down”? Locking school doors would have kept kids safe.
