Ok weird, I'm going to look at this now. Hopefully I can get a patch out by next week.

Woah, really?? Online leaderboard, local, or both??

Yeah the hitching is because we're teetering on the edge of running out of memory on Switch--I still plan on some performance updates for Switch. Trying to see if we can optimize memory consumption more. I think that if I can get more headroom in memory usage it will hitch less.

We could do a bad ass 120hz edition with the visual punch of the PS5 one if we could get our hands on a Switch 2 kit.

Collectors! Store owners! Hoarders! Help us out! @gamehistoryorg.bsky.social is looking to source copies of this 1985 NES pack-in poster for fundraising reasons, and we need them asap. We already cleaned out eBay. Note that they need to be the ones that say copyright 1985, as pictured! Can pay!

Weird how Howard Lutnick was supposedly creeped out by Epstein the first time he met him and supposedly never associated with him again, yet our fascist dictator partied with him for decades until having a "falling out"

You would not believe how many stories like this have been popping up over the last ~5 years

Not just full games cancelled—entire characters and plot lines removed or changed, leaving less time for making the *rest of the game better*, to try avoiding a small and malicious contingent of voices.

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

The trouble with AI companies as potential clients is they place no value at all on human effort, hence it's impossible to negotiate any kind of reasonable rate with them. Go away.

I’m not sure if they test on Switch 2 during Lotcheck, but they didn’t flag any issues. And it’s running on a way newer engine than DT—so I suspect it runs fine on S2.

I have no way of knowing without a devkit. We’ll see when it launches.

One Battle After Another would probably be doing way better at the box office if they weren’t too scared to show what the movie is actually about in the trailers.

So I don't get why @unity.com hub doesn't patch the currently installed editors for you? There doesn't seem to be an option for this--you have to hunt around for the matching patched editor version and install it over the old one?

The Saturn version has an exclusive 3D animated intro movie. It’s also way smoother than the PS one I think.

I can’t reminder if I’ve played Crusader of Centy before. Been playing it on Switch today. I have a vague memory of trying to play it via emulation decades ago. Didn’t the designer of this game vanish without a trace after its release?
