Trump is no longer even pretending to have any kind of argument that his murdering of people in the Caribbean Sea has any kind of statutory validity. Just straight up declaring that he has quasi-unlimited power to execute people based on (nominal) suspicion.

I engaged with a MAGA supporter yesterday, an old coworker. He told me his grocery prices were down (questionable, I know) and his 401k was up, so he was happy. Couldn't spare a thought for how this administration affects others in society as long as he's ok. Just real depressing shit.
