It may seem little, but not giving your AHL players their championship rings in a timely manner nor giving them any update on it signals to all players that you don't really care about them.
That's the type of stuff that players talk about and prevents them from staying with or coming to your team

The Canucks absolutely have a culture problem.
Look at how they’ve treated former players and staff. Look at Horvat’s comments about being disrespected. Look at Boudreau’s situation. Look at their comments around EP40’s injury.
Bunch of players felt disrespected by them. That’s not a good thing!

Anyways, the Canucks legitimately should be planning a full on rebuild at this point that culminates with them starting to peak in 2030 so they can offer the world to bring Bedard home.

i was mid work and though someone was trolling me with Hughes to the Wild.
It sucks that we got into this position, but that's a sign-and-trade level of return immediately, which makes the team worse and likely makes the team's own draft pick in 2026 better.

I guess a new goalie in the room might help the Oilers’ mindset, but I’m not sure who the better goalie is talent-wise between Skinner and Jarry.
Getting rid of Kulak might be the best part of the deal for them, although I have a feeling their systems are what are making some D look bad
