Look, we’d all love to believe that Republicans have morals that they can generalize to people they don’t personally know, but they simply don’t. The problem is not lack of spine. It’s a lack of principles and morals. I don’t understand why so many Democratic leaders refuse to understand this.

My compromise position for the DHS funding bill is no more funding for ICE until their $75 billion slush fund is exhausted. We can wait to abolish them until we have the votes, but no votes for ICE, even compromises, until then.
