"AI made me believe in the human soul by showing me how a soulless art looks like" has never been truer.
This is not a drill!

Fraser and Weisz starred in the original, 1999 film "The Mummy." The movie's massive success gave a huge boost to the careers of the young actors, who have both gone on to win Oscars. https://cnn.it/3WF64Rm
About it every day.
Spn inadvertently changed my brain and how I interact with fandom and media literacy. And not always in a good way cause gdi, they all deserved to have!!!!!! not that ending we got.
Spn's role in that. It's wonderful seeing others write about it.
It's been lovely to write my meta about spn but also OFMD over the past few years and especially my fanfics. It's a break from the mundane of academia, especially when it feels like AI is inescapable since I have to have discussions +
for the first time. Kept up the analytical side of things through meta analysis but dived into fiction with writing fanfic for the first time. I wonder if I had been in academia at the time if I would have written on spn and not only the fandom but the queercoding and censorship in media and +
On the five year anniversary I'm thinking about my journey in academia through media. My undergrad papers were mainly written about Stargate and fandom (but mostly Classic Hollywood.) I was not a part of fandoms then, just looking in from the outside. But then Despair happened and I joined fandom +

No matter how hard people try to convince us having empathy is wrong,

it is right.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness,

it is a strength.

No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited,

it is unlimited.

finally it's done, no more pics littering your dash πŸ˜…
This is such an important flip. Not only in the big picture but small.
The all republican commissioners of the past three years raised the power bill six times over three years! My power bill had been more expensive even when using less electricity cause these rees are added as add ons. Go Georgia!
WHOA. Via @decisiondeskhq.bsky.social, it looks like Democrats just flipped BOTH *statewide* Public Service Commissioner seats in Georgia.

That seems...significant.

#OFMD meta time again!!

Just thinking about Ed talking to Stede Bunnet. Ed came back to life from being *mostly* dead. And while wandering through the wilderness β€” something we see isn't his favorite β€” he comes across this wolf bunny. (1/9)
I love watching Ed open up to himself, self reflect, and learn to love himself. And I love these two scenes where he talks to other beings, expanding in a way the playfulness that he needs in his life, even when speaking to himself. (9/9)
all together. Ed and Stede become a united front and leave together, the present and future on the horizon.

Ed's journey of looking back on the past and reconciling that to further embrace his future continues with his talk with Fang.

Ed uses metaphors to contextualize the world. (8/9)
even more and as Ed's core to take all three of those sides of Ed (the Kraken, Blackbeard, and Ed) and learning to embrace all of them, not compartmentalizing them. Last, we see Ed with Stede again, all four of them having dinner, eating the rabbit. The past, present and future (7/9)
