Oh god, it...I think it winked at me.

I drove past a Range Rover parked on a zebra opposite the police station yesterday.

It's unsurprising people believe it's ok, when they see nobody gets punished.

So we need enforcement. With expensive, public, humiliating, punitive punishment.

"How do I put this, Mr Lawmaker, it's not really homicide if it's a car you're hitting them with, is it...?"

Car marketing has done a lot of work.

Almost as much as cigarette marketing departments.

Sometimes I think about how absolutely wild it is that drivers think they're being oppressed when they get punished for breaking the law

My favourite story was someone who wrote in to Mark and Lard on Radio 1 with a story about staying in a B&B with toilet rolls labelled "small front" and "large rear" in a shared toilet.

My friend Sascha is a professional musician and he's lost a viola bow on the way to Heathrow. Please signal boost to help him get it back.
Lost viola bow on the way from Honor Oak Station to Heathrow Terminal 2. The bow slid from its bow case somewhere along the way, possibly on the train. TFL contacted already.
It weighs 68.2 grams and has got a stamped DODD next to the frog. If any info on this, please pm me.

I didn't say pedestrians should be ordered by intelligence and the most stupid killed.

Nor did I use grotesquely sexist language.

So a eugenecist and a misogynist?

Certainly, very very stupid. For which I can only offer pity.

She had me with her beautiful "come to bed" bike.

Bicycle pageant, 1948. Headboard bikes were a fun fad.

Photo of a woman riding a bike, the frame of which is the metal headboard from a bed.

I can't think of a more effective way of discouraging undesired behaviour than maiming or killing a few kids.
frequentflats.bsky.social
No, I was apologising because I didn't realise you were so stupid.

I was apologising for making fun of your disability!

I'm sorry you have a learning difficulty.

"kids, who are inherently stupid, are just going to have to die more often. After all, why should I take more responsibility than I already do."

It does make you wonder what else dropped through the QA net...🤔

They gave you wrong-way-round screws!

Are they back-to-front or flipped around? If so, which axis?
frequentflats.bsky.social
People make mistakes. When pedestrians screw up, they make a mistake with 70kg at 4kmh. That's why drivers need to bear more responsibility.

And that means responsibility when others make mistakes.

It's a responsibility that comes from choosing to drive a heavy car at high speed.

Simple.
frequentflats.bsky.social
Drivers' mistakes are punished by fines and increased insurance premiums but pedestrians' mistakes are punishable by death.

And that's ok with this lovely person.

If you don't look and walk into traffic it's your fault if you get hit. If a car is being driven badly and it hits you it's the drivers fault. That's why parents spend so much time making children learn how to cross the road safely.

The green cross code is the most disastrous public information campaign in history. It has made generations believe that pedestrians are responsible for avoiding crashes. Crashes are actually the responsibility of the operators of the massive motorised lumps of metal.

Wow, what a normal and perfectly polite conversationalist you are.

Give it a lot of thought before deciding there were no similarities at all between brutal honesty over food and over sex?
