In 2025 I'm going to post more videos of dangerous driving that I witness when out riding my bike. These will be incidents that I don't report to @policescotland.bsky.social because the reporting system is antiquated & time consuming & the courts don't take them seriously I'll use #DNRPoliceScotland

The evidence in favour of 20 mph speed limits is overwhelming, cheaper insurance, less emissions, less car crashes, it saves the NHS, Police and councils money. But Gary from Port Talbot's commute now takes 42 minutes instead of 40 so it simply must go.

This has now been reported to the police who will be taking it forward.
It turns out the driver doesn't have the camera. When I looked more closely at the footage he can be seen throwing it to the side of the road onto grass. I didn't see it at the time when it was dark. I went back to look for...

Every time I hear a politician say that an issue is “dividing” this country they always then come down on the side of the right wing view of it. Just once I’d love to hear someone say “this issue is divisive, which is why I’m making the argument that kindness and compassion is important”
