For me, every morning typically begins with my brain serenading me to some random song stuck on repeat until I roll my ass out of bed. There’s no rhyme or reason for a particular song choice. Today’s musical selection? “Soap” by Melanie Martinez.

We always try to make sure the holidays are special for our kids. One tradition I have is to use excessive tape on foil paper when wrapping gifts. This trauma will persist long after I’m gone. Any time my kids struggle with a package in the future, I hope it sparks these fond holiday memories.

Just before Thanksgiving, we had to say goodbye to my wife's 2019 Sorento, thanks to the carelessness of another driver. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries to either party. Insurance has been....interesting to deal with. Anyway, timing seems to have worked out. Brought this home Saturday.

USCIS canceled my client’s naturalization oath ceremony. We filed a lawsuit, went to trial, and the judge swore him in right there in the courtroom!

"The Road Not Taken"... a poplar grove (cultivated) near Andrew, AB. i captured this in the fall when most of the leaves had fallen but there were still leaves on the trees in the background and the soft late afternoon light was filtering through them

Fall and Winter are genuinely my favorite times of year, but one frustrating thing about this season is I always have to register more than 1 touch ID fingerprint just to get into my shit due to how bad my hands dry out, even with lotion.
