As someone close to finalising a house purchase, it would be spiffing if they announced that stamp duty is going to be reduced or the threshold increased… hey, a guy can dream, right?

Not sure exactly what's happened up by the Heathgates/Morrisons in #Shrewsbury, but the police have cordoned off the road between the roundabout and the entrance to Morrisons. No pedestrian or vehicular access.
Someone is "very not well" apparently, but unclear if it's an accident at this point.

- my postman has knocked on my door
- he's given up waiting for me and tried to put it in my meter box, even though I get to the door in 5 secs
- I've disturbed him and made him hand it to me in person
- the parcels in question would have *easily* fit through my letter box.
