Bluesky suspended Sarah Kendzior today for no reason whatsoever. She just shared excerpts of her articles, which were as always incisive and not offensive at all. Hey @pfrazee.com this is super not OK. I know her- we've interacted a fair bit via chats and her work is essential.

Some thoughts on the CR/minibus.
1 The Dems negotiating with Rs were not freelancing. They coordinated with Sen Schumer. A few were ready to give in on day one, others worked to maximize appropriations wins.
Those voting for the 'deal' are the ones furthest away from electoral consequences.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.
But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

I really hate the way @npr.org is framing this series. Seems that all media outlets write this same sad story about how if we don't have more babies, the economy is over. Ok, hear me out...how about Team Journalism? When interviewing a politician who spouts bullshit, experts in the production booth can refute the bullshit (like saying, that isn't actually against the law) and can send follow up questions through the anchor's earpiece. Why is that not a thing?
