I work closely with this age group, including teaching related subjects. When I mention trade unions they are confused... they are not on their radar, but more fundamentally the ideas that underpin them do not resonate.

This is completely unworkable without a massive investment in childcare / wrap around care provision. Many parents already struggle with childcare outside of core hours and holidays, which even if it is available is often absurdly expensive. How would this work for working parents?
