healthy self criticism is perhaps the most important skill to develop as an adult. being able to recognize your own strengths & weaknesses and accepting them humbly. it's amazing how little other people's opinions matter once you've decided to critique yourself openly and honestly.

The risk of traveling to the US used to be a delayed flight or lost luggage. Now the risk is to be detained and possibly tortured for weeks. I am a father of 2, I can't make that bet.

The way Paradox is handling Bloodlines 2 is huh... quite something. The game was selling itself based on nothing but a name. The OG Bloodlines was a budget title with a very limited scope. They just needed to respect the material they are following up on. How much did they waste on this shit, >100M?
