One day people will also include the link to the article that they are screenshotting from
“Give us a chance to give [Trump] a way out of this that comes to the right ending. … I don’t know if that’s possible.” - @durbin.senate.gov to Danes in Europe.

Can the Senate Dems sound any more limp, facile and impotent to Europeans across the Atlantic?

To add to this, almost all of the U.S.’s problems are linked to its hatred of Black people and that it hates Black people more than it loves anyone else. Our laws and policies are largely based on making sure Black people (and sometimes other groups) don’t benefit even at the expense of others.
If there's one empirical insight I'd want everyone to understand about American politics, it's this:

America's problems are solved problems. Just not here.

What would change if the US simply matched the average of 31 peer democracies? Not Denmark or Norway. Just the middle of the pack. 🧵

Ms. Von Karma told me I'd be a foolish fool to forget the 19th anniversary of her debut, so I'm doing my due diligence!

This is a big reason movements like BLM very often aren’t considered resistance or left movements and it’s *constantly* reflected in our rhetoric.
people think that americans don't fight facism because they are just as racist and misogynistic and homophobic and ableist

aka; anyone who is not cis white straight dudes protesting rarely counts as anyone protesting

they literally do not see or recognize it when others are doing the work

Today marks the 16th anniversary of the original Japanese release for #KingdomHearts Birth by Sleep! 🧡💙💚

I remember being SUPER impressed with the sheer amount of content they put into this game on the PSP - and I loved the way they told the story through each character's perspective.
