Nigel Farage says Reform would “reduce the size of the bloated state” by seizing Brexit opportunities to deregulate

@jreland.bsky.social points out in @the-independent.com that this creates a dilemma - the more the UK does things differently to the EU, the more work there is for British bureaucrats

We must ensure polluters, not the poorest, pay for climate action.

Ahead of COP30, we have written to the Prime Minister, urging him to ensure that those most responsible bear the cost.

I knew Gill and Farage and the rest of the UKIP crew in the European Parliament

They were crooks and shysters to a man

They repeated Putin talking points and appeared on Russia Today

UKIP then and Reform now are both a threat to our democracy

I find this hard to forget. The world’s new climate plans achieve less than one-sixth of the emissions cuts needed by 2035 to stay below 1.5 °C

How is this not headline news everywhere?

A new report shows the US’s super-rich are burning through carbon emissions at 4,000 times the speed of the world’s poorest 10%.

Some would have you believe climate action has to cost you money. They're lying.

The >meaning< of that title is that its holder might accede to the throne…
But there is absolutely zero chance now of Andrew acceding to the throne.
So he can no longer be regarded as a Prince.
