Hello new followers! I'm a proofreader for Uncle Sam by day, and a comix podcaster by night. You can find me doing the latter at @rftpodcast.bsky.social. Dropped off the socials for a bit, but now I'm back, the show is back, and I'm looking to ride out the apocalypse here with all you fine folks!

This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

Decided to update the header for a bit. Not because we're any less riding out the Apocalypse at the moment, but because...well, if you had a picture with Stan Sakai, I think you'd rather look at it too for a bit...

Baltimore Day 2 is now in the can as well! Both panels went great. Audio has been confirmed recorded for the TOOLS panel (always a happy moment!). The SHOPPING one wasn't really episode conducive, but the film is great and we're looking to have Wes on the show to chat about it soon!

Did a bunch of comic book yakking this weekend but my boo repped our family unit at the Baltimore/Penn Station NO KINGS protest, so I feel good about that!

Hero’s of the day - In a small town of Beckley, WV, Kendra Sullivan staged a one-woman No Kings protest. She was confronted, had the police called on her, but stood her ground. She was physically threatened. Police came more than once and protected her right to protest. This is how we do it.
