The bird perched on a rustic wooden fence has a bright, fiery red-orange head and back, with deep black underparts. Its feathers appear smooth and glossy, especially the wings, which show a warm orange sheen. The bill and legs are black, and the bird’s posture is alert, angled slightly forward as if ready to hop or take off.

I didn’t even realize when I first looked at this image that the agent behind him has a gun loaded and pointed at him. I believe I read he was shot with pepper spray. Clearly the agents intent was to injure. At that range, aiming for his head could have dire consequences with a “non lethal” device.

I was traveling/diving in Papua New Guinea. Diving was shockingly depressing.
The one stuff was very cool.
What the fuck happened when I was gone? The only thing missing is the brown shirts.
