I feels you on that, as it's getting colder my bones hurting more too. Makes sure you're keeping warm enough too, heat pads or wheat bag or stuff can help too, though I don't find em as effective as tens machine is.

Tens machine helps with my chronic back pains, makes flares ups managable and eases pain for a while. Worth a try maybe, if you've not tried one before. And if it don't work, makes for a fun electro-torture device for shits n' giggles? lol

When a candle reaches the end of it's life.. rather than recycle it, I remove the branding with cleaning alcholol and now I have a nice fancy jar to hold things..
Like I know glass is recyclable n' all but magpie brain just go caw~ no~ new trinket to hold trinkets~ or cup~ smol cups~

Remembering a nurse tell me like a decade or more ago, that I'm an average 5"6'.. but height was brought up in conversation recently and I decided to measure myself. And apparently I'm 166/167cm which puts me at 5"4' actually. That was a few days ago, and I'm just like wtf and still in disbelief lol

But please, do continue to use GenAI slop thumbnails for your YouTube videos, or your album art, or your book covers or whatever else. I'll continue to refuse to watch/listen/read any of them, knowing already they're not worth the time & that you're a disappointing lazy hack.

‘Children's book illustrator isn't a job anymore.’
I've been out of work for a while now. I made children's book illustrations, stock art, and took various art commissions.

Now I have several maxed out credit cards and use a donation bin for food. I haven't had a steady contract in over a year. two weeks ago, when a client who has switched to AI found out about this he gave me $50 out of "a sense of guilt." Basically pity for the fact that Illustrator, as a job, does not exist anymore.

It was my birthday recently and I sincerely considered not living anymore.
The worst part of all is that the parents who once supported me fully in being an artist sent me an AI generated picture of a caricature of themselves holding a birthday cake with my name spelled incorrectly.
