They reckon they don't have a spaceship but here is an open admission that they do indeed fly around in space looking out of the window of their rocketship at clouds.
It's a struggle to see the UK from space today as it's hidden behind this mass of cloud 🛰️

This is associated with a frontal system, responsible for bringing the wet start to December 🌧️

At the end of the day, the media polices itself in the UK and nobody in power will take any kind of action against that situation because they live in fear of reprisals by the Mail and co. The media has gone feral at national level and is beyond cooked at regional level.

Or about whether he knew Nathan Gill

Further considering a recent Mamdani video, what struck me was how he actually seems to understand the real issue of regulatory impact on small businesses. UK politicians are simply not showing similar real life comprehension and tying them into policy. bsky.app/profile/davi...
Dangerous socialist or hitting one of the biggest problems with modern economies, that life is just getting too hard for small businesses and that saps energy from the market? Feels like EU and UK policy makers should be taking notice rather than the same old tired talk.
Soon small businesses won’t have to wait for Small Business Saturday to get attention from their Mayor.

Some changes that they can look forward to:

I am consistently amazed the Building Safety Regulator isn’t a much bigger story. It’s brought house building in London to a total halt, but it’s also brought cladding remedy works to a halt, too. Which is costing leaseholders FORTUNES, halting sales, and leaving people living in unsafe buildings.

1 December is the day we must mark the sad passing 504 years ago of Giovanni di Lorenzo de’ Medici – or Pope Leo X, as he was also known. Leo was not one of those popes memorable for a sordid life, but is known for two things. Firstly, this:

A writer is a person who cares what words mean, what they say, how they say it. Writers know words are their way towards truth and freedom, and so they use them with care, with thought, with fear, with delight. By using words well they strengthen their souls.

This was well done and also what I’ve been saying for years, glad to see more people on it
"All of this falls apart if humans don't adopt the tech. This is why you've seen Meta cram its lame chatbots into WhatsApp and Instagram. This is why Notepad and Paint now have useless Copilot buttons on Windows. This is why Google Gemini wants to "help you" read and reply to your emails."

Don't call it a bubble! Loss-making monster OpenAI is on the hook for $1.4 trillion (with a T) in compute commitments. How can this go on?

Around 26,000 of the neediest people in County Durham will have to start paying council tax next year...

About 2,400 others who already pay some council tax will lose part of their rebate.

Women and the disabled will be disproportionately affected.

Not quite what Reform UK had promised.
Council tax shock for thousands of Durham’s poorest – thanks to Reform UK
Durham will scrap full council-tax rebates, forcing 26,000 low-income working-age residents to start paying for the first time
