She went to a talk by Helen Joyce, bought her anti-trans book, and then recommended it on campus.

In the article she says, "I could also own Mein Kampf. It wouldn’t make me a Nazi."

*clears throat*

GOING TO A TALK BY HITLER, BUYING HIS BOOK, AND RECOMMENDING IT ON CAMPUS, MAKES YOU A NAZI.

Putting forth the more controversial position, ‘forcefem is funny.’
"Forcefem fantasies are unethical," is such a funny thing to say when we live in a society that forces people to grow up as the wrong gender and is criminalizing the alternative

Imagine the news stories if any other waiting list was just, closed? "Sorry you need a hip replacement but we've decided no one gets any". I'm choosing to believe they've stopped accepting new patients because they are going to burn the whole thing down (sadly unlikely to be the plan😕)

Sinn Féin spokesperson on Health, has said that the decision to stop accepting new patients onto the National Gender Service waiting list is a stark admission of failure and proof that the current system has collapsed

again: the UK has never once taken action anything like this with regards to any medication at all whatsoever.

It is completely unprecedented for emergency powers to have been used to ban a medication for a specific group or for that to have been extended indefinitely pending (unethical) trials.
Streeting has already interfered by careful selection of “researchers” associated with a designated anti-trans hate group to carry out an unethical and pseudoscientific “trial” designed to get the result he wants.

This happened and was the basic end of Democracy.
25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.

“No,” she said.

The last number I saw was that the UK media are putting out 154 articles about trans people - almost all misinformation - every single month on average.

It feels like at least one of those breaks through each week to become a huge conversation. It's exhausting.

The only thing more worrying than this regime's censorship and surveillance is the compliance of Meta and other quisling companies and institutions agreeing to this shit
"The takedowns and restrictions began in October and targeted the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp accounts of more than 50 organisations worldwide ... in what appears to be a growing push by Meta to limit reproductive health and queer content across its platforms."

If you have a platform SPEAK UP.
We know we have journalists and influencers following us. USE YOUR AUDIENCE, get them to contact people, join actions, fight for their lives.
Trans liberation is just one of the struggles present in the fight against a fascist state. As other protesters starve to save themselves, two of whom are trans, we must stand together.
What have you done for the hunger strikers? Could you take actions that could save a life?

Something I have to reiterate is that you are being straight up lied to about trans people and our healthcare on an unfathomable scale, this instance reporting is already being torn to shreds by other people commenting, but the frequency of this kind of reporting is astonishing, it's neverending.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

The Times, Telegraph, Mail, and other newspapers have been more accurate than the BBC in their reporting of the Sandie Peggie case. This raises the question of why the BBC appears to take such an intensely ideological and transphobic stance, far beyond commercial motives.
