Yup, Black Women will get incorrect treatment because of this headass belief that their pain thresholds are higher than everyone else's.

During COVID's Debut, and the beginnings of the vaccine, there was a lot of discomfort in black people towards this because of the history Chantal speaks of.

Medical racism is a big reason why Black folks avoid the doctor. There are too many bad experiences with racist doctors & it develops distrust. Most of us have tales of medical racism. Then you get into community knowledge of all the times we were medical test subjects historically.

There’s a whole bunch of channels that’s just AI generated slop. Like someone picking a subject, having AI write up an “essay”, have it AI narrated, some pictures picked by AI, etc.
and then getting a bunch of bot channels to follow them to boost visibility.

As a writer, I strive to always relfect our world somehow, esp in fantasy and sci fi. In Kipo, I wrote about a fictional dystopian Los Angeles that LGBTQ+ kids are very much a part of, bc it reflects the real LA we based it on. LGBTQ+ kids exist. Trans kids exist. That shouldn't be controversial.
