Most worrying for me however was the ease with which a reasonably sensible person can get dragged into it. I found myself logging in just to reply to idiotic posts, in my mind highlighting the idiocy, without realising I was just contributing even more to it. It was a sobering realisation

It’s not as bad as I’d read about, it’s far far worse. It really is populated by far right wingnuts, girls promoting their onlyfans accounts and bots with the most idiotic posts designed purely to illicit a response. I’d been strict with my follows but rarely saw a coherent post
