I could 'Forrest Gump Talking About Shrimp' pumpkin stuff I love. I'm a fan of all Cucurbits tbh. Pumpkin is good in sweet applications, but bro I can GO TO TOWN on a variety of dishes with squash and zucchini, and some cucumber??? Oh man SO MANY amazing cold applications! NGL, I did not know this but I should probably build a shrine to her. I would bite someone over the last piece of a pumpkin pie. I ADORE pumpkin bread. Pumpkin streusel muffins. Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. Pumpkin Spice lattes. Pumpkin pancakes. Pumpkin donuts (I don't even like donuts!!!), etc!

I’m not a big pumpkin spice lover, but I adore the polymath and saint, Hildegard of Bingen, 12 C Benedictine abbess who is credited with inventing the spice blend.

In her book “Physica” she speaks of adding cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg “to calm the heart”.

Cost of my cleaning before my filling appointment: $221. So consultation+cleaning= $318. I'll check back in December when I get the actual procedure for a more complete look at how expensive dentistry is in America.

Let's keep a running total of the cost of basic dental care! So far, it was $97 for a 5-minute consultation and X-Rays and the craziest part is the x-rays were only $25, the other $72 was for that 5 minutes with the dentist looking and going, "Yep, you need a filling, later!"

I have dentist appointment #2 for this week in the morning. I had a consultation Monday, a cleaning tomorrow, and then a filling in a few weeks. *cries in too poor to afford teeth* Bring on the credit card bills.
