It is time for white Americans to STEP UP. Enough of the mediocre life you have chosen for decades. It is a shame to be poor in the wealthiest nation on earth. Get OUT and PROTEST nonstop. Fight! Demand a decent living for all Americans. We helped create the wealth but only made the Oligarchs rich!

I can't stop thinking about the purported drug smugglers being murdered by the US military. The punishment for drug offenses isn't the death penalty. This is just bloodlust and men in suits playing with lives they don't care about. It's truly grotesque and gravely compromises this country.

The extent to which immigrants like Google's CEO have cooperated with anti-immigrant policies hurts my soul because it's clearly not a lack of understanding about the intent, but a whole throated betrayal of principles that welcomed them to America, in favor of short term personal gain.

Every American who wore the uniform from Valley Forge to now took an oath against tyranny, making them textbook antifascists. The military's entire purpose is defending democracy from authoritarianism. Declaring antifa "domestic terrorism" means our founding principle is now a prosecutable offense.

My constituent, Wilmer, was mauled by an ICE attack dog despite the fact that, as he has consistently explained, he was not resisting arrest or trying to flee—his wife and young children, all U.S. citizens, were forced to watch helplessly as Wilmer was violently attacked and dragged away.

Drone attack that Ukraine blamed on Russia blew hole in painstakingly erected €1.5bn shield meant to allow for final clean-up of 1986 meltdown site
The protective shield over the Chornobyl disaster nuclear reactor in Ukraine, which was hit by a drone in February, can no longer perform its main function of blocking radiation, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has announced.
In February a drone strike blew a hole in the “new safe confinement”, which was painstakingly built at a cost of €1.5bn ($1.75bn) next to the destroyed reactor and then hauled into place on tracks, with the work completed in 2019 by a Europe-led initiative. The IAEA said an inspection last week of the steel confinement structure found the drone impact had degraded the structure. Continue reading...
