It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

A once-in-a-generation investment that benefits everyone in our state.

Today, I’m proud to sign the Northern Illinois Transit Authority Act into law.

Our new regional authority will modernize Illinois’ transit systems — and we’re doing it with no new statewide taxes.

Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

The Illinois Policy think tank's whiny attitude towards transit funding reminds us of an Oscar Wilde quote: "A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing."

It's on the governor's desk, and reportedly he's getting cold feet. Hey @gavinnewsom.bsky.social, please have some spine on the most important issue in your state. Just sign it.

One background explanation for America's current irrationality & belligerence is that we have made some terrible choices & live in deliberate misery in many ways & it is, on some level, *embarrassing*.

Belligerence feels better than humiliation or shame. It's easier to direct the rage outward.

Solar will also shut off come sunset, but the wind is set to pick up this evening by some lucky coincidence
