Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

This is my kind of good trouble.
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Everyday I battle the urge to knock out my bedroom closet. This tiny cottage needs ingenuity & some thoughtful redesigning...and, this tiny, tiny closet isn't serving any purpose at all. It's simply taking up important floor space. There isn't even a door on it. So...let's go find the saw & hammer.
