Seattle bus commuting has me waiting on a bus that only comes every half an hour 🫠

Trying to be the change I want to see, but world, you're not meeting me half way.

Some days therapy is just therapy. Other days it's fucking life support.

The relationship between streamers and developers feels similar to that of an F1 Driver and his Team. Pros want the fastest most competitive car possible, even if that means sacrificing accessibility.

The parent company, however, still needs to sell something to carry the weekly shopping in.

Most cinemas around here feel like half way dead malls (with the exception of central cinema, or the luxury one in bellevue).

It sometimes feels like we're living in the ruins of someone else's idea of a good time.

When there are no jobs left, um, who, um, is going to pay for the products and services that they make?

Sometimes I think they want us all to die politely and discreetly and leave the planet for them to enjoy.

"I'll just go knock out this one task"

Task is "how long is the perimeter of the British isles".

We could have had a tech utopia, but greedy short termists always seem to rise to the top, don't they?

This country is about to invade Venezuela to steal oil to power AI used to keep the population servile.

They're experimenting with actual brain chips on immigrants detained by ICE.

I'm often deeply drained by the breadth of things I have to work on at work. Not being able to focus on one thing at a time makes me feel like I'm a useless pretender letting everyone down, despite evidence to the contrary.

Just got over (mild) covid and now in bed with a super sore throat.

This is one of the coolest game design analyses I've seen. Maybe ever. A graph of the possibility space of Stephen's Sausage roll (amazing game btw).
This is a great representation of a more discrete game.
I always thought of possibility spaces as hyper dimensional fogs.

still can't get over what we learned today that the actual story is elon musk just copied enough of wikipedia word-for-word for grokipedia to be useful but rewrote all articles related to him to be more favorable, leaving out facts he doesn't want people to see or talk about
I’ve never donated to Wikipedia before but I set up a small monthly donation as a fuck you to the world’s richest psychopath.
Elon Musk takes aim at Wikipedia
Musk has denounced Wikipedia as "Wokepedia" on X and urged people not to donate to the platform.

Canceling even harder. Annoyed I didn't do it sooner.

LLMs aren't a problem because they're asking us to turn off our brains - they're a problem because they're asking us to turn off our hearts.

The breadth of grievances that people at the big queue had was one thing that really struck me.

If they were to write a list, it'd be the size of the oversized constitution they were bearing.

Reporting of today's rally numbers feel really low. But I guess it takes a little time for actual counts to come through.

I have a rant in me about what I'd call the "floating number aesthetic" of certain videogames but someone will call me a kill joy and my convictions aren't quite strong enough to bother defending my opinions that hard.
