Just learned that some people think that LFL are literal libraries and books need to be returned to them?

Which goes against the whole idea of the movement?

Handed in my rough drafts last night and slept from 10:30 ish to 8 ish. I could probably use another 10 hours tonight but this is definite progress.

Now to have breakfast before we go off to our own corners for Thanksgiving (haven't celebrated w/husband ever in 27 years) and back home for a drink

When motivated, I can brush my hair and get changed in about 7 minutes. For a delicious giant lemonade, BLT, and Moldovan treat? Most definitely.

Still putting the finishing touches on your Thanksgiving menu? Maybe you’ll find some inspiration in Newton native Eleanor Early’s New England Cookbook. According to Eleanor, New England is the country’s “famous pie belt," making not only the most pies per capita, but also the best!

I *think* that I am done doing citations and both papers are over 10 pages long which is the minimum required for right now. I've sleptwalked the last three nights, am exhausted, and ready to be done.

Luckily, I have until Dec 10 to finish these, but I'm going to attempt to hand them in early.

The majority of parks are fee free, but many of the largest/most popular have fees. Some of these parks have also gone cashless partially to protect employees from theft but also it costs a lot to handle money. Fee collectors already get yelled at and abused...this will only make it worse.

Lenticular clouds above Mt. Washington today. Completely harmless, they form when stable air is forced to rise over a mountain range. Note the striking resemblance to “mothership” supercell thunderstorms - which can be precursors for tornadoes.

This has nothing to do with an important article, but I am 3 years older than this man and somehow look about 30 years younger than his face age.

Guess selling your soul starts showing on your face first.

Glad that I don't have to cook any turkey, but always confused when people complain that theirs is dry and flavorless. We used to host Friendsgiving (24 people) and ours was always tasty...butter and herbs do amazing things, maybe try that!

Tuesday morning commutes are usually strange/interesting but today's veered into the improv section as no one seemed to have any idea what they were doing or where they were going.

Glad I don't have to drive tomorrow and can walk/bus to anything I need to take care of.

Seasonal workers make less than half the amount than beginning permanent Rangers do. And they can only work 1035 hours a year, usually closer to 1000 to add some buffer for the next year.

Seasonal Park Ranger life can be fun, but the finances suck.
First they push 24% of rangers out the door, and tell us we can’t hire anyone to backfill those positions. Then, they tell us to fill those positions with seasonal (temporary) rangers—the positions in the NPS with the least protections.

Pete Hegseth take notes. This is what a real Patriot looks like.
I swore an oath to the Constitution in 1986. I've upheld it through 25 years of service and every day since I retired.

If Trump's trying to intimidate me, it won’t work. I’ve given too much to our country to be silenced by bullies who care more about power than the Constitution.
