Trump and Republican politicians promised to lower costs. Instead, electric bills are up 12% this year. Why? Their “Big Beautiful Bill” killed new clean energy projects and policies that kept energy prices down.

Killing the fuel-efficiency standards is a lose-lose-lose situation: losing out on $84B in total savings, losing out on 50.4 miles per gallon in fuel efficiency by 2031, & losing out to our foreign competitors who are rapidly innovating in more efficient vehicle technologies.

SEEC's Climate Jobs Task Force, led by @repbonamici.bsky.social, @budzinski.house.gov, & @repmarkdesaulnier.bsky.social, endorsed bills that confront the Trump Admin’s attacks on our federal workers, protect our workforce from rising temperatures, & support good-paying, family-sustaining U.S. jobs.

PFAS exposure poses serious health risks to service members & surrounding communities.

DOD has committed to an investigation and remediation process of PFAS at hundreds of military installations — but now has quietly revised its schedule. We’re demanding transparency.

As the president guts investments in renewable energy, American families are paying the price in higher utility costs.

Trump is selling out Floridians to boost the profits of Big Oil donors. Floridians strongly oppose drilling off Florida’s Gulf Coast - it’s too risky to our economy and way of life.

BTW, it’s an illegal maneuver- Biden Admin adopted a permanent protection that can’t be rolled back.
President Trump wants to expand offshore oil and gas drilling across more than 1.2 billion acres of U.S. waters. Opening up California, the Gulf of Mexico, parts of Florida, and large areas of Alaska to drilling puts coastal economies, communities, and wildlife at risk.

Prioritizing the interests of energy producers over the interests of energy consumers has caused prices to skyrocket.

It's time for an approach to energy policy that puts American consumers first.

In the midst of Donald Trump's self-inflicted affordability crisis, House Republicans further strained families’ budgets this week by doubling down on dirty, expensive fossil fuels. It's past time for Trump and Republicans to put our families first & lower costs for Americans.

This is exactly it. All Trump and the GOP have done is KILL clean energy projects left and right to cut deals for their polluter buddies.

To actually have real negotiations on permitting reform, they must first stop their war on clean energy.

No one wants to breathe dirty air and drink polluted water.

That's why I am joining my colleagues to introduce the 'Frack Pack', a set of bills that close loopholes used by the oil and gas industry to skirt key environmental and public health protections.

The admin has been trying to gut FEMA since Trump took office. They slashed funding and pushed out seasoned emergency management experts.

When deadly floods hit Central Texas, David Richardson—the head of FEMA—was nowhere to be found.

We owe it to every Texan to demand better.
Breaking news: David Richardson resigned as acting head of FEMA.

Richardson was known for frequently being inaccessible, including during the early hours of the flood disaster in Texas over the Fourth of July weekend.

When the American people turn on their taps to find dirty drinking water in the years to come, they can thank Donald Trump's new Polluted Water Rule. The EPA needs to remember its mission is to protect human health and the environment, not to protect polluters.
