sent $20, can someone match me?

@katyrex.meatjacker.social notes that you can also send via venmo to eileen-king with a 🛏️ emoji in the memo, and that money will go to Kyra & her kids
Reactivated because my friend Kyra needs help - she has been jerked around by CPS and a sober house currently under investigation, and when she finally got housing to get her kids back, she got pneumonia and is now being threatened with eviction for being 2 weeks late on rent.
Please help if you can

It's become so rare to see an actual article in the news which details the fact that the genocide is still happening; most media pretend there's a "ceasefire" in place.
A ceasefire in name only: Israel's relentless targeting of Palestinians has not stopped
Dr Brendan Ciarán Browne says Israel’s banning of 37 humanitarian organisations exposes the grim reality behind claims of a Gaza ceasefire.

DFL caucuses are in 2 weeks (Feb. 3, 7pm). Notably, the party allows anyone who identifies as a DFLer to caucus, even if they're not eligible to vote.

I would suggest that caucus-goers with the privilege to attend in person, like me, prioritize delegate seats for BIPOC and immigrant non-attendees.
eric eskola brought up the concern that DFL caucuses will be very white due to fear of ICE on TPT’s almanac on friday night too

If you're local & don't have $ to spare, maybe you have coats or other cold weather gear you can drop off.
Mr. Rogers said "look for the helpers," we all know this, but I would push that further - ALMOST EVERYONE wants to be a helper. People with training and/or proximity show up, and people sitting at home feel helpless wondering what they can do. In our experience, most people just need to know how.

$10 sound good?

Across Minnesota, people, many who weren’t that political, are outside in negative temps, armed with whistles and phones putting their lives on the line to protect their neighbors.
