This is who we have representing us now, ward 7. Keep an eye on your favorite cafe or it might be replaced by a McCafe.

And make sure Shaffer hears from you often. We don't have to make her job easy.

Katie - you're still the CM in my heart! Can't wait to see what you do next. 🧡😭

Minneapolis and Minnesota need to regulate robotaxis, now.
Waymo privatized another public street:

Chanel approaching 4th, San Francisco

Possibly queued for a Billie Eilish show at Chase Center ~half mile away.

The light rail train on 4th seen passing in front of this roboherd has more passenger capacity than all of them combined.

Denying other parts of the city fair representation so southwest can dominate the vote for 10 of 13 council seats sounds like something Scott Graham would want to do.
Fun to walk around lake of the Isles and hear one failed ward candidate loudly plotting with another extremely failed ward 7 candidate about having 4 wards and 9 at large council seats.

More than 200 neighbors attended the Phillips community training today!

It was inspiring to see so many people come together, committed to keeping their neighbors safe.

Community members left empowered to organize their building, block, and community.

I need people to understand that here in Mn what happened on Tuesday in St Paul is unusual.
They are picking up people every day in much quieter ways.
Grabbed in the lobby of the Whipple building, pulled off roofing jobs, taken from their cars.
Every day.
We need more defenders.

Referring to the fall of Al Franken as a "lynching" is quite a tell, almost as much a tell as referring to him as a progressive warrior. Also, "weaponize a joke photo" lol, lmao. At least 8 women came forward to accuse Franken of harassment.
Sorry, no….its not. Many of us will never forgive her for lynching Al Franken. That was a contrived right-wing hit job pushed by a disingenuous partisan hack former model who decided to weaponize a joke photo from decades ago. We lost a progressive warrior because of Dem self flagellation.

we should reject waymo on the basis of supporting labor in minnesota, where uber and lyft drivers fought to score a statewide minimum wage! and don't forget that lyft contributed $10,000 to all of mpls this year to reelect mayor frey and get a city council allied with him. they are making moves
This, 1,000x this. I've been harping about Waymo being anti-worker and yet another way to funnel money upwards to the elite/oligarchs, and people react like I'm nuts. (It's also why I never use self-checkouts.)
and this is why waymo is a labor issue, not a tech issue! it's going to be taking money out of the pockets of rideshare drivers and putting it solely in the hands of big tech

This would be a great app idea for someone to sample rents by neighborhood and show trends against inflation. Solid data project for the portfolio
For what it's worth, people within the City have proposed a rent registry, requiring landlords to report the rents for every unit annually. The industry has fought that proposal tooth and nail. They know. If the data was actually good for them, they'd want to sound it to the heavens.
