One way we learned this in Minneapolis was when Chief Arradondo campaigned against a ballot amendment in uniform and mostly got treated as if that wasn’t him doing politics.

the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.

Yes! It is happening-more would be better but also when it does, it doesn't get that much press coverage (which I wish was more surprising). National one planned for the 18th-hoping for a big turnout!

Researchers in Spain have developed a new intranasal COVID-19 vaccine that eliminates the virus in mice.

One dose gave 60% protection, but two intranasal doses achieved 100% protection with no detectable virus in nasal or lung tissue, suggesting sterilizing immunity.

Ok, Twin Cities: give me your recs for in-home health aide type stuff. Looking for someone to come in a few hours a day and help with hygiene, meal prep, maybe some light cleaning. Respite care so my mom doesn't have to do it all. I can Google but it's better to have a more personal recommendation.

I have an aging parent with a major health crisis & work insanity, so life has been STRESSFUL. It's been a JOY to blast Life of a Showgirl at full volume all day today. Seriously. My favorite is definitely Opalite.

Off to the movie with my 9 year old later. We have matching shirts. So excited!
