For your consideration as #fanfiction as history text.

I also hope to see the Sussman-Bakula proposal take shape in the years ahead.

Decided to break this model out for the weekend and try to get it done.

Just added a bunch to the bottom (now finished) and all that is left is adding the details around the ends of the arms.

Enjoy.

SNW reminded me that Babylon 5 did *two* news documentary style episodes. S2's 'And Now For A Word' was good, but S4's 'The Illusion of Truth' was a masterclass in how malicious editing can twist someone's words to fit a narrative. It should be on the curriculum!

Here's a Turntable of a Star Wars ship I've been doodling with in UE5.6 - the Spruce Shrake! (It's a now merc-owned ex-Royal Nubian Marines Dropship!)

I used 3dsmax 2026 for the model and Substance Painter / Photoshop for the textures. 4K in the 🧵

One of the most egregious things about the ENT holodrama is that they practically omitted the large and rather colorful crew outside of the senior staff. So, here's some background on NX-01's lower deckers:

Crewman Janelle Kelly
Born: 2126, Hawkinsville, GA, FNAS
Role: Electrician

A humble, spiritual woman, Kelly enjoyed gaming and singing, being a fixture of karaoke night. Her twin sister Morgan was a trans woman and also a member of Starfleet.
Hey that’s my hometown haha

Working through the revisions for the remastering of @eomproject.bsky.social Book 1 and there's something quite satisfying about going back through to fix and add sections when you can look at a map of what you're talking about!

USS Wepwawet, named for a mythological “Opener of Ways”, leaves on her historic mission to track down, map and explore the remnants of the Borg transwarp conduit network.

Expected to last five years, Wepwawet’s mission is expected to open up the Delta quadrant for further exploration.

Admiral Sclkin T'Gon Pasalk, 2260.

Pasalk - a career jurist with experience in the Starfleet JAG Corps, the Vulcan Diplomatic Corps and the Diplomatic Secretariat - was one of the key voices of Vulcan's 'quiet conservativism' in the mid 23rd century.

My favourite story is when Colm Meaney brought Alexander Siddig to a pub and the bartender said he wasn't welcome there, Siddig told Meaney that the man was racist.

“Colm calmly replied, ‘No, it’s because you’re English.’ He obviously enjoyed taking me to places where they would hate me."
Lmao love Colm Meaney

From The Bay To The Beyond ("FB2B") will be divided into seven volumes, neatly breaking up the 350-year history of Starfleet Academy and its direct predecessors into digestible chunks.

Suffice it to say, there's a lot of ground to cover, but I'll do my darnedest to deliver what I can!

U.N.S.S. Hammer was a Susquehanna-class destroyer built for the United Earth Stellar Navy in 2101.

Built in response to an increase in pirate raids against ECS freighters, Susquehannas like Hammer saw frequent action during the Earth-Kzinti Conflicts (2112-2134).

Sometimes, the greatest developments are spurred by the worst tragedies.

In 2135, the United Earth Star Fleet was formally established through a merger of much of the operational hierarchy of the scientifically-minded UESPA and the defense-oriented United Earth Stellar Navy.
