As a complete package, the Trafalgar doesn’t do anything, but I do really dig how they gave each pair of nacelles a single bussard collector grill. I think the original Atlas would have looked great with a similar approach.

Having access to a 35 ton machine (Puma) capable of dropping anything 45 tons and lighter in a single well-placed salvo from well outside the opfor’s own engagement range, is terrifying. Either way you play it, PGI did a great job of highlighting the disparity of tech bases. 2/2

Continuing the thought from earlier about Shadow of Kerensky, having access to omnimechs early on (play it straight the first time, then have fun on the second playthrough) really alters the dynamics of early missions. They feel less like pitched battles as they do executions. 1/2

According to VFX Supervisor Peter Chiang: "Justin [Lin] wanted to attain a definite 35mm Panavision camera lens feel—but not as ‘flare-y’ as the Abrams vision—with plenty of camera artifacting that would help convey a grainy grittiness on a subconscious level. We also took the opportunity to give fans close looks at parts of the ship they’ve never previously seen from these angles, a way to pay tribute to the fantastically original design of the TV ship."
