This is so important because A) she did it in response to Benedict Wong, a far more prominent actor, saying he's listening to the audiobooks a lot and B) did it unprompted, she specifically stopped the fluff interview to draw the comparison to the themes of their film and support trans people.
You’ve got to love how actress Kelly Marie Tran, one of the most harassed people ever to be on the internet, still leapt up to defend trans people in a recent interview. No one would blame her for keeping her head down and shutting up forever but she will NOT and I admire her for it ⭐
