The only artist in comics that hasn’t done a variant for Absolute Batman. Gonna see how long I can keep this streak going! *please don’t color and repost my art*

Since this is a relatively new place for many of us, I wanna take a minute to recommend that all of us in creative fields try a little harder to use it to support each other’s works. I tried on other platforms and I felt like only a smattering of friends really did the same.

The only thing Trump has ever taken his name off of is the Epstein files.

Extraordinary courage from Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim, 43-year-old father of two, who bravely risked his life to save his neighbors celebrating Hanukkah.

Praying for his full & speedy recovery.

And so deeply inspired by his example.

I agree, & it’s also insulting to your collaborator. Let them do their job. (As this relates to comics) Great creative work never stems from one person needling the others into something they see in their mind. Let collaborators input their own creativity.
Sorry I think using AI for placeholders is also bad
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know you only care about finished art but placeholder art also needs to be made by a human being who also needs to be paid for that

But placeholder midjourney slop cuts that artist out

His master falls asleep while the Secretary of Defensive does his job.
Q: So you didn't see any survivors after that first strike?

HEGSETH: I did not personally see survivors. The thing was on fire. This is called the fog of war. This is what you in the press don't understand. You sit in your air conditioned offices and plant fake stories in the Washington Post

Looks like he manages to stay awake for the ass-kissing segment? Sleeps through policy.
Kristi Noem to Trump: "Thank you for letting us get up every day and have a purpose."

Well, they’re always calling us, “woke”. I guess this is their ideal opposite.
Trump dozes while Marco Rubio speaks to him directly next to him. Just insane optics.

The death of browsing is part of the reason art is the way it is now. Our opinions are largely fed to us by algorithms. Spending a spare 15 minutes wandering around a bookstore or comic shop or video rental place was how you found stuff you wouldn't ordinarily pick up and thereby expanded your taste
Bookselling is like the most "people go to the store and buy what looks cool to them without a particular agenda" type business left, and your purchases have a huge influence on what is ordered, what is displayed, and what is recommended.

I’m not sure if BlueSky just isn’t the place for art, isn’t the place for selling art, or if there’s a hinky algo here too, that buries sale posts. But if you see this, do me a favor & like it, just so I can get a sense of whether there’s any point to pound this particular pavement with comics work.

My good friend Drew Hennessy passed away suddenly on October 28th. There aren’t enough characters on BlueSky to remember him, but some of us compiled thoughts and memories in this link. Please read. He was an incredible friend, and an extraordinary artist. perkyposts.blogspot.com/2025/11/drew...

Right, the answer isn't to abandon the party to these weasels.

The answer is to flood the party with people who will take it over and transform it.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.
