cars are bad in almost every way, especially in cities

if you go to even large, bustling cities that are actually dense, they are quieter than US cities because you can get away from cars

I’ve had many cases where my OSS was used with zero attribution, and even entire tools/designs were copied; sometimes down to the wording of the algorithm explanations.

I’m very pro-reuse, but this kind of thing honestly makes me hesitate to open-source some work. What would you do?

Not aiming to be contrarian here, but personally I don’t watch any YouTube unless I am driven there to solve a problem. I only log in to Instagram to check to Taco Tonto’s specials for the week, and I’ve never been on TikTok. I’m way more likely to read a post than ingest your video content.

i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.
