The country had a chance to elect a government that would have been genuinely transformative but swallowed the smears of the Times and the other MSM and chose Johnson over Corbyn. You get the shit you vote for if you are gullible.
🧵In today’s Times @joshglancy.bsky.social has a brilliant write up of our focus groups he sat in on. Definitely read it in full! But I want to focus on two voters: Kylie & Eve I think have outsized importance in explaining today’s politics

Just got off the phone with the President of Antifa. They said they have a cell in Florida that set up a fake tailoring shop, where they created this custom garment to humiliate Michael Flynn.

The only reason JKs connection to Epstein hasn’t killed the Warner Bros contract, stopped the anti-trans movement and anti trans legislation dead in its tracks, and ended JKs career is because too many people comfortably hate trans people and will not push this point home.

We need celebs talking.
oh and "self-made mouthpiece of the anti-trans movement emails billionaire pedophile guy to declare proudly that she does not understand lolita" hahahaHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

i think this is what drives me nuts. people talk about how, say, the UN was founded by "starry eyed idealists" who didn't understand "reality." the truth is that the UN was founded by those who had just fought and *won* the bloodiest war in human history.

I've said it before but, in the absence of proper regulation and the licensing of metal detecting, then we must rely on the good old fashioned fairy curses attached to each and every hoard. Let the folk beyond the veil sort it out. 🏺🪙🧚🏼‍♂️☠️

Poverty is not real.
You should not be allowed to work from home.
Minimum wage is a bad idea.
Women need to stay at home and have kids.
Migrant workers are the problem.

I don’t know guys. It seems like Reform might not represent the working class at all?
Reform have totally let the cat out of the bag about who they are.

Zia Yusuf lecturing that poverty and peoples everyday struggles with rising bills and rent is exaggerated.

A party of the failed status quo, funded and representing big corporate interests.

Here's my idea.

If Billionaires/multimillionaires operating in the UK haven't paid the 47% tax on their incomes that they are supposed to pay.

People can just legally go into their businesses and properties and take stuff for free until they have.

There can be an offical list.

One conspiracy theory I do actually hold do is that it's no coincidence that PA got proscribed shortly after they trashed Trump's golf course. There was absolutely foreign pressure there.
Breaking: on two counts, the High Court has ruled that the Labour government's proscription of the campaign group Palestine Action was unlawful – a win for its co-founder Huda Ammori, who sought a judicial review of the ban

This is an enormous victory for the Palestinian solidarity movement, for civil liberties and for our common humanity.

The real crime is this government’s complicity in genocide - and we will not rest until we have justice for the Palestinian people.

Meta’s analysis that it can avoid scrutiny by releasing a privacy invasive product during a time of political crisis is craven and morally bankrupt. It is also dead wrong.

In incredible news, the European Parliament has voted overwhelmingly for "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women."

Even the center-right European People's Party voted for the declaration.

It will form a foundation for their position at the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

Our latest.
European Parliament Votes Overwhelmingly For "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women"
The resolution, though nonbinding, is a significant shot at those who seek to erode transgender rights on the continent.
