I've been in a hyperfocus for a few days making slippers and now I have to stop. The other recipients need to be able to put the freshly felted slippers on to shape them and they can only do that in a washing machine they're near!

Just had a random man buzz my sisters building and come to the door. Her package, for her street facing door, was left round the back at the door to his building, 2 buildings down. There's a few roasters round here, but so many decent people. It's easy to forget that in this rancid world.

Poverty is great for sustainability. I have some nice coffee as part of my Christmas present, I have a glass dripper cup thing in the cupboard. I have no filters.
I do have a sheet that got ripped, it's been strip washed and now it's being repurposed into coffee filters. I feel smug.

Got my referral to orthopaedics, I'm on the waitlist. I'm unsure if that's the 72 week general waitlist or the 56 week 'hand' waitlist. Either way plenty of time for me to have fun/develop problems with painkillers. I contacted my GP at 4 am crying for help as my bone was forced out of line. Fun.

Wow what a difference. Now I'm all pinned I can see what I'm making, it's not just an abstract pile of material. Crafting with total aphantasia is frustrating af. However I now need to cut a duvet and not lose the innards. 😬
