#SecretSantaAoNZ As far as pets go, I have two horses. They are awesome. One just came through a major surgery experience at the start of the year, so thanking my lucky stars she's still with me.

Go to hell, Shane Jones.
Luxon's #WarOnNature rolls on.

This is another blatant attempt at enabling mining on conservation land.

The whole point of DOC is to protect nature. Their power to veto mining in native forests and wetlands should be strengthened, not hamstrung.

Shane Jones wants to strip Conservation Department’s concession powers
DoC is a “prison” for investors, the mining minister says, as he continues his push to turbo-charge development.

I used to work in room service at a hotel in Australia and delivered breakfast (or dinner - I can't remember) to Iva Davies of Icehouse. The first album I ever bought was Man of Colours, so I was quite star struck.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

When someone asks what structural racism is say - remember when Julie Ann Genter left her seat and yelled in the face of an MP across the floor & had to …. apologise. Te Pati expelled for 21 days over critical debate

Like one kid who has to apologise to the board & the Māori kid is expelled.
This makes me furious, but I can't say I'm surprised that Te Pāti Māori leaders were punished far more severely than anyone else has ever been in NZ Parliament. Fucking racists.
