NEW—US Department of Education sent out standard Out of Office language to employees on Wednesday in light of shutdown. Later yesterday, workers tell me they found someone had updated their auto-responses without consent to a new one blaming Democrats.

Demonizing trans and LGBTQ+ people was a big part of the Nazi movement, btw. When the Nazis came to power, one of their earliest actions was to destroy the Institute for Sexual Science, a center for trans healthcare and LGBTQ+ rights.

Anti-trans hatred isn’t new. It’s fascism 101.

@democrats-appropriations.house.gov Put together a timeline showing how this shutdown has been inevitable based on R refusal to let Ds be part of, what is supposed to be, a bipartisan process, since the day Trump was sworn in.

I can’t properly articulate how phenomenal this timeline is.

Repping the Rep @foushee.house.gov Had a telephone town hall on Monday. One woman asked how she was fighting back against racism. Her answer is just another reminder of how many Reps we have fighting like hell, but we don’t know about it cause they’re not as flashy as some others.
