Everything about this song is beautiful. The way the guitar swoons/wobbles in at the start, the droning bed, the trembling vocals, the constant drums. The way all the elements swirl around each other perfectly harmonious but not quite locked in. A dream of a song.
I know I’ve said this before here but I think this might be the most beautiful song I’ve heard; it’s certainly amongst them. Like something you’d want played at your service.

Found a load of old divs fawning over an AI clip claiming to show Margate in the early 1900s, endless comments about ‘times was great then’ and ‘what has are country become’ and couldn’t resist trying to get them to log off. Won’t work. We’re doomed.

I spent ages looking under the “ambient Americana” genre tag on rym but apparently this doesn’t count, in spite of it being both quasi-ambient and having a pedal steel player on it

God, thank you, I was trying to remember what this was called the other day and somehow “shrunken elvis” managed to slip my mind entirely?!?

I’m old so I don’t know who this is, but it’s pretty embarassing behaviour. Pitchfork is shite too though obviously
A few months ago Indigo De Souza called Pitchfork “internet bullies” over a 6.6 review of her new album and asked her fans to tell the publication it was “whack”: “why not ONLY write reviews about art you LIKE?”

Last night she wore a shirt featuring the review onstage at Pitchfork Music Festival.
Indigo De Souza Played Pitchfork Fest In A Shirt Featuring Their 6.6 Review Of Her Album
Indigo De Souza released her new latest album Precipice back in July, and some drama ensued shortly thereafter. Stereogum contributor Grace Robins-Somerville reviewed it for Pitchfork and gave it a 6....

Wait are you agreeing or disagreeing? Because a forum I’m on has had an “artists you only like one song by” thread and more than one person has said Prince and I am losing my mind…
