the west especially likes their categories. books, genres, etc. a history book can't be a spiritual book can't be a humanist book, it's one or the other or it's schlock and pseudoscience. that's how the west views narrative too. and that's the biggest leverage people have for the bible as a cudgel.

so you can never look at a piece of it and say "the Bible says this". you might as well look at a history book about Nazi Germany and say "history says eugenics is good actually". history and lessons aren't "good things" they're often the opposite

the predominant problem of people reading the Bible in any context, religious or historical or even just for finding gotchas, is that there Bible is intended as a set of lessons AND a historical document AND a spiritual document, _especially_ in the Old Testament but throughout the whole thing

TPMs are in TONS of devices, I was coming in to ask the same question basically.

Are you SURE your hardware can't? Open your BIOS and there's a strong chance you can just enable TPM and then Win11 installs without problems.

I mean unless you're against Windows morally which, I mean, alright.

Hilariously before WW2, German was taught in American schools like Spanish is today. Even more than Spanish is in fact.

More communities in America spoke exclusively German than any other second language. Same for German language newspapers in the States.

We distanced ourselves _after_ WW2.
