I often wonder why so many shareholders in British companies, including (especially?) privatised utilities, take the money and run. A preference for cash in the Caymans?

I wonder to what extent the UK financial sector drives the UK Govt attitude to China. ATM it does well providing funds to -for example - people buying Chinese EVs and other goods such as ships which it prefers to do rather than invest in manufacturing here.

The BBC's justification for platforming Farage beyond the actual significance of his small parliamentary party are his polls. A rather cynical explanation, for he wouldn't be where he is without the constant, uncritical appearances he's given on the BBC. It's a (literally) vicious circle.

Went for a light lunch in a cafe near to where I live yesterday with a work colleague…on display for general consumption, if you could stomach it…The Torygraph and The Daily M*il…I couldn’t help but mention it to the proprietor…I will always support local businesses but not sure I can here…harsh?
