Their fight against what, Tom?
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."

The "on camera" part seems unnecessary, really.
@timmiller.bsky.social: "He's being nominated to HHS Secretary…You had information that you could have shared…and you didn't share anything about him. Why? Did you still love him?"

Olivia Nuzzi: "I don't know how to responsibly handle this on camera." lnk.thebulwark.com/4ozkaz8?utm_...

This kind of language only ever comes from people who are independently wealthy, have their healthcare fully paid for by the government, or both.
Chip Roy: "We need to give freedom options for the average hardworking American family so you can afford a catastrophic plan, go get health sharing, be able to have something that you can be able to go to the doctor of your choice rather than enriching insurance companies."

Read these words. This is your country doing this:

“Pregnant & postpartum women report starving in ICE custody, freezing cells, invasive procedures, miscarriages, their pleas for help going unanswered.”

Thank you @rfkhumanrights.bsky.social @the-independent.com for shining a light on these horrors
(1/4) ICE detention has become a black box. Oversight has been gutted. Families are being separated. Pregnant and postpartum women report starving in custody, freezing cells, invasive procedures, miscarriages, and their pleas for help going unanswered.
Miscarriages, infections, neglect: The pregnant women detained by ICE
Until last year, Congress required reports on the pregnant, postpartum or nursing women in ICE custody, including ‘detailed justification’ for their detention. This requirement no longer exists, Kelly...

The Nuzzi story isn't about an affair, it's about the extraordinary corruption, moral stupidity, and cliquishness of elite media. (From the Feed Me Substack.)

Those thumping noises you hear are everybody in the chain of command being rolled under a bus so Hegseth can pretend he has no agency and just plays the role of cheerleader in military operations.
Hegseth: "As President Trump always has our back, we always have the back of our commanders who are making decisions in difficult situations. All these strikes, they're making judgement calls ensuring they defend the American people. They've done the right things. We'll keep doing that."

and
“It’s throwing us, the service members, under the bus.”

This is insulting to both Rambo and Sesame Street.
AEW has ruined War Games for me this is like watching Sesame Street after Rambo. #WWE

You're talking about a man who repeatedly used his position as a colleague and mentor in comedy to force young women to watch and listen to him masturbate. Shouldn't the question be whether or not he has sufficiently atoned for his offenses? Did you ask the women he violated for their opinion?
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
In a new standup special, and a début novel, the comedian navigates murky, post-#MeToo terrain: not quite exiled, not quite welcomed back.

President Hernandez was serving 45 years in prison for a plot to distribute 400 tons of cocaine before Trump pardoned him. Meanwhile, Trump is murdering fishermen in small boats for allegedly smuggling far smaller amounts.
“Additionally, I Will be granting a Full and Complete Pardon to Former President Juan Orlando Hernandez who has been, according to many people that | greatly respect, treated very harshly and unfairly.”
