My 8 year old started playing Fortnite yesterday for the first time after a life of Minecraft, and today won a 100 person Battle Royale match. How do I monetise this skill set?

I am now addicted to the mutate button in Omnisphere 3. It’s essentially automated what I was doing manually in Omni 2; switching out preset sound files with random guitar samples from my user library.

At every step of the pipeline the algorithm tells you to hurry up and make more music as content as if you’re a making YouTube vlog and not an album. In what universe is mentioning the fact that you churned something out as quickly as possible your first time around considered a good thing?

This year it’s been tough to make any music. Partially due to personal life stuff, but also because I’m a big stupid child and I’ve spent far too much time on a Steamdeck.

Odd balls claiming that BlueSky is dead based off this data... This looks like a classic pull back after an event-driven sharp spike in new users, perfectly normal.

My son invented/muddled words as a toddler (remembery = memory, mogotten = forgotten). The best one remains in constant family use years later because it’s clearly better than anything else in the English language.
Gendy = disgusting, wrong, usually relating to food.

Yeah but I’m 46.
Remember, Tolkien didn't start working on "The Hobbit" until he was 41 years old. It started as tales for his children that took over 4 years to complete, and he finally published it at the age of 45.
It is never too late to start working on something that truly calls to you.

This is outstanding. God knows what Labour is doing: legitimising the racism that'll be its undoing, losing the coalition which put it in office, trying to secure voters who will never support it, digging its own moral grave.

In the post that is. I’m a simple man, if I see a @radiohead.wastehq.social art book, I buy it. And bonus belated #cassunday, I finally acquired OK Computer on cassette too.

Anyone remember Anonymous? With the V for Vendetta masks? What happened guys? It’d be like shooting ducks in a barrel right now. Got to be so much poorly guarded data just sloshing about in the US at the moment.

I don’t want to needlessly spread conspiracy theories and dredge up painful memories, but I’m 100% sure emu had gone up that ladder with Rod to fix the television aerial.

Not sure I can fathom how people afford high end cars now. Passed three Porsche, an Aston Martin and a Lamborghini this morning. Would never see this concentration of car wealth turn of the century. My neighbour has two Porsche Macans. Two!

The new Adam Curtis series Shifty is amazing, I’ve watched the first two episodes and nothing has immersed me into the early 80’s mindset like this. Like a fever dream.
I suspect after watching all 5, I’ll go back and immediately watch it all again.
